Since quarantine, skin care has seen an increase in interest. Our medical spa has decided to dive deep into biochemistry. Biochemistry is concentrating on the interactions between our cells and organic and inorganic molecules.
We feel most spa’s skim over the skin care ingredient and the science. Cellular changes occur when we apply specific ingredients to the skin. A-C Ingredients
Achiote Extract
It's very rich in beta-carotene; the oil extracted from the Annatto seeds protects us against the ultraviolet rays of the sun and stimulates the production of melanin, a natural pigment which colors the skin and gives a healthy glowing look (and that is great!)
Algae
Fantastic for: hydrating, revitalizing, and toning the skin It can also help to reduce or fully eliminate problems with: acne, cellulite, and even wrinkles. Algae improves skin's elasticity.
Almond Oil
Because almond oil is an anti-inflammatory , it may help ease swelling of the skin. Improves complexion and skin tone. Due to its emollient properties, almond oil has the potential to improve both complexion and skin tone. Also treats dry skin.
Aloe Vera
It contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C, and it is highly anti-inflammatory. It can help treat burns, acne and dry skin. When it comes to acne, Aloe Vera works best on superficial surface acne rather than cystic or deeper acne.
Aloe Vera
Antioxidant properties help protect against damage by free radicals, and is a major source of the super antioxidant quercetin.
Apricots
Rich in fatty acids, apricot products can make your skin more soft and supple with their moisturizing properties. Acting as an emollient, it helps to keep your skin cells hydrated and counteracts any drying effects associated with exfoliating your skin, creating a healthier and softer skin surface.
Argan Oil
Traditionally referred to as “liquid gold” because it is packed with vitamins A, E and C, antioxidants and omega-6 fatty acids that are essential for healthy skin and hair and are used to protect against environmental damage and premature aging. The omega fatty acids in Argan oil help to strengthen tissues in skin. Therefore can aid in wrinkle prevention Argan oil provides a major boost of hydration to the skin, thanks to its high quantities of vitamin EA natural anti-aging oil. Argan oil deeply hydrates, moisturizes and nourishes the skin to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, tighten and firm the skin.
Arizona Red Clay
The medium-grain powdered volcanic pumice polishes skin smooth, while Red Arizona Montmorillonite Clay soothes and tones skin. Also has a negative charge that absorbs toxins and bacteria. Helps remove impurities on the skin, such as oils, and toxins from the body. Helpful in treating acne breakouts and oily skin. The clay can help remove sebum, or oil, from the skin’s surface, and it may also have a calming effect on inflamed breakouts.
Aronia Berry Extract
High levels of antioxidants, aronia berries are an essential anti-aging component. They help protect your skin from harsh outside factors such as pollution, smoke and UV radiation, which can all contribute to wrinkles and aged skin. Aronia berries enhance youthfulness from the inside out!
Avocado
A very rich source of linoleic acid, which is the key component of skin structure and appearance, it is also rich in vitamins, improves hydration and calms the skin.
Bamboo Extract
Used traditionally in Chinese herbal medicine, bamboo is a source of antioxidants and vitamin C. Helps skin appear radiant and smooth. Because bamboo is antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and acts as an antibiotic, it's a powerhouse for rejuvenation and cell growth. Lather some bamboo serum on a red face or sunburnt patch with your aloe to even better reduce your skin's heat. If you want to avoid a sunburn altogether, use bamboo extract sunscreen. Comfrey Root

Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and oily skin. Due to its soothing and moisturizing properties, it can be used to treat dry and irritated skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Due to its nourishing properties, regular application of coconut milk can replenish damaged hair.
Coconut Oil
Coconut Oil on your face overnight can increase hydration. Coconut oil helps bolster your skin's protective barrier layer, trapping moisture inside and keeping skin supple and hydrated. Reduces inflammation. Increases collagen production. Lightens dark patches. Fatty acids include linoleic acid (which can be beneficial for acne-prone skin) and up to 50% lauric acid (which is hydrating and antimicrobial).

Date Fruit Extract

Shiitake Mushroom Extract
